Shoutbox Rules:
These rules apply to the Shoutbox and will be enforced by Administrators and Moderators. If you fail to comply with these rules you will have action taken against your account; however if you think the action that was taken happened to be unfair in your circumstances, you may appeal it in the Shoutbox Appeal sub-forum. However, if we feel that you have abused the appealing system there maybe further action taken. Please note relaying messages to banned members will result in punishment.
Rule 1: Offensive Language
You are not permitted to use Offensive, Obscene, Racist, Foul, Stereo-Typical, Seg or Abusive language in anyway shape or form. This also means that flaming is not allowed. If you say something that could be taken offensive by others or is purposely aimed a specific forum user then you are liable to have action taken against you with no warning at all depending upon the severity of the offence. However if you say something like a curse word that is aimed at nobody nor can it be taken offensively by the context that you used it in, you are permitted to do so.
Note: Arguments and discussions are allowed. Please, try to have a valid, reasonable point to back your opinion up, rather than just spamming. If you do choose to present arguements or involve yourself in a discussion, all rules must be followed.
Rule 2: Advertisement
You are not allowed to give links that are not helpful to somebody that is currently active in the Shoutbox. This includes all harmful material even if the user asks for it. You can only give out website links that are not helpful with the Administrational permission of a Forum Administrator.
Rule 3: Spamming
Spamming is strictly forbidden, this (can) includes multiple messages with no purpose. As well as single messages that have no meaning or point in the slightest, or. Submitting a message multiple times to get somebodies attention, or any other reason, is also classed as spamming. Only use the English language in the shoutbox.
Rule 4: Asking for Ranks
You are not allowed to ask/beg for a Staff position and/or other rank. This includes suggesting someone for a rank, e.g. ____ 4 Mod!! or anything along those lines.. If administrators think you a worthy of a position they will come to you. In an actual fact you only damage your chances by asking.
Rule 5: Excessive use of Caps Lock
It is against the rules to use more caps in multiple (or single, depending on what's deemed acceptable and unacceptable) messages than any member of staff deems unacceptable. If a member of staff feels the amount of caps in your multiple messages are unacceptable, you may be warned/punished. Caps Lock may be only used for emphasis, using it for other reasons are deemed spam after a certain amount of shouts.
Rule 6: Do not submit ban appeals in the Shoutbox
If you happen to know or be somebody that has a silenced account. Please use the forums for the appealing of the silence and/or banning of the account at hand. The Shoutbox is not the correct place to submit these appeals and actually damages your chances off having the action over-turned. This includes messages for other people such as "Fred4unban" or "Fred4unsilence".
Rule 7: False Representations
You may not abuse the shoutbox or manipulate rules to your own personal gain. This includes trying to be smart by taking the rules Specifically and performing deeds that are not directly named in the rules but common sense tells you they are. If you make an account and impersonate another respected/long-time member or any other member, you'll be banned immeditally.
Rule 8: Inappropriate Images or links
Do not post links or pictures of Inappropriate things. This includes anything with pornographic, please post a lot of porn
and anything that may fall into another one of our rules. (Advertisement, False Representations etc) Doing so will result in severe punishment, just kidding, we dont care. We love porn!
Rule 9: Encouraging others to break rules / aggravating
Do not encourage others to break rules or aggravate others to make them break the rules. This is strictly not allowed, and will not be tolerated.
Rule 10: Respect Moderators
You are to respect all moderators. Saying someone doesn't deserve a rank is disallowed. If a moderator is found abusing his/her powers, you need to report it to an administrator or a moderator of a higher status. If a moderator is making their own rules and he/she believes that they have the ability to do that; the right to prove them wrong is yours.
If you follow these rules you will remain safe from having action taken against you. Thank you for taking your time to read and gain a knowledge of the rulebook.
If a moderator/admin tells you to behave and you don't there will be consequences.
All rules, forum and shoutbox, must be followed with no exceptions. Warnings are NOT mandatory.
